The new disciple of God born in Ethiopia

Abuna Teklehaimanot of Ethiopia

Abuna Teklehaimanot of Ethiopia was one of the most influential people to ever lived I believe their influence on the Ethiopian people is so amazing and their story is so great and remembered to this day by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

Abuna Teklehaimanot was born in a miraculous way his father and mother prayed that if God gave them a child will be given to the church. At the time of his birth Ethiopia was filled with a very cruel government (Anti-Christian government) the King at that time destroyed many Churches and forced the people to believe in the carvings of his will.

Abuna Teklehaimanot wanted to be a hunter so one day he would go out to the jungle to hunt but then a word of God reached to him and said that he was not destined to hunt, and he was meant to be a disciple of God. So, Abuna Teklehaimanot has rich parents his father and mother were very rich, and he had all their wealth after them, then he gave all his riches to the poor until he was left with nothing, and the people (Orthodox people living around him) said to him that what he did was beyond the limit and asked him why he gave all of it, and he replied to them that instead of his deed he got the wealth of the upcoming.

Abuna Teklehaimanot went to lots and lots of places all over Ethiopia to preach the word of God and to restore the faith of the people for those who were forced to change and to show the true road to God to the ones that didn't know. So, he preached almost everywhere in Ethiopia and what most Europeans don't know is that he used to heal the wounded, he used to even raise the dead, and he did many miracles through God in Ethiopia.

Abuna Teklehaimanot went to a cave, and they prayed for many years without sleeping to stop himself from being distracted by sleeping, he used a sharp arrow through both sides and whenever he didn't stand firm he would be hurt by the arrow, he prayed for a long. When many people hear about this, they think it's unlikely, and considering how much they have been deceived by the movies and everything, most of you might forget what is possible through God so most think it's a myth.

Abuna Teklehaimanot's birthplace is called Etisa Teklehaimanot I know there are many places to visit when you come to Ethiopia, but I assure you it's worth visiting the place. Near the place, there is a cave that is also called the image of hell the cave starts at the bottom of a mountain and ends at the top of the mountain and when traveling through the mountain you will be told you shouldn't have any light because the darkness is needed to test your faith and as your path through the mountain it is believed depending on how sinful you are the walls hits you sometimes, once you finished traveling through the cave there is an easy stairway to go down so you only have to worry about going up.
